Description:
ForceDelete is used for deleting files in RAM (or Program Memory) that cannot be normally deleted because they are in use.
It does this by scheduling them to be deleted on reset and then by performing that reset.
ForceDelete is a control panel so you need to open the Palm Prefs application to access it.
ForceDelete requires OS 4.0 and up.
Use at your own risk. ForceDelete can be used to delete important system files.
This could cause a hard reset or destroy your device.

This works as advertised, and does the job easier (by organization and quckness) than others. Used it on my IIIxe, and there were junk in there such as temp, and even orcache, which i think belonged to orb a program i used to have..hehe.. :) well anyway Be very careful because I just found out that AMX belongs to Bdicty.. as without that the palm will crash.. :( my fault tho.. :) anyway this baby helped free up a little over 100 kilobytes.. Higly Recommended for those who are willing to risk it all if they delete a wrong pref. data type thing... and esp. those who are risk takers and pros at this kind of stuff..

So far it is untested by me, but this looks VERY promising and we've needed something like this for YEARS! Even Filez and TealMover are limited in what they can delete; JackSprat/JackFlash went perhaps the furthest in allowing control over troublesome files but this is a simpler tool to use, provided you're careful. I'm interested in testing it later today but based on the concept alone, many thanks to the author for at last providing a way to get rid of annoyances you just had to "live with." Hopefully no one will delete anything important - but if it works correctly I'll amend this review or add another. I'll be testing it over next couple of days. Thanks so much for a VERY useful app, and I notice the source code is included in the zip. Great work and I hope it's successful in testing. I may in fact FORCE a hard reset as I have most important stuff in flash; I'd like to test a "worst case" scenario as well as test on rudimentary annoying files.
