Also consider my "BrightnessDAs" if you have a color device.
You'll need a DA launcher to see & run these DAs once installed - I recommend the combination of EasyLaunch hack and YAHM hack manager, or, if you have OS5, try DA Launcher 5 (all are freeware and available here)
BacklightOnDA - Explicitly sets backlight to ON
BacklightOffDA - Explicitly sets backlight to OFF

These DAs were compiled on board using the best freeware PalmOS Pascal Compiler by Philippe GUILLOT, available at:
