This famous dice game, which I've played for almost 40 years, should get the rating known in Spanish as cinco estrellas! I recently bought the Palm Z-22 handheld model, and after having just downloaded YahDice (which is exactly the way Yahtzee is supposed to be played), found out that I didn't need to waste 1 MB of free space on the PDA! (I only had to waste about 50 KB--much less than Yahtzee's large-sized megabyte!) The game is a fast one, too! I didn't know until I read it on Wikipedia.org that Yahtzee was invented in Canada, two years before they first sold it, and the Yahtzee game was born to stay.

This game rocks. And it can be quite addictive, so think twice before you download this onto your Palm! No problems with installation/play on my old m105 or the newer Tungsten E.

One of the best games available. Faithful to the original, elegantly designed, lots of options for easier play. I have yet to find a better Yatzee game for any handheld device. Only thing which could possibly make it better is player v. AI, but that's kind of unnecessary since this game is so good single player. High score: 718. I'm sure someone out there has beaten it, but it's still pretty good.

This version is BETTER than the licensed version of Yahtsee. The developers decided that the game and ease of use were more important than fancy graphics and lots of color. They were right. This version is easy to learn, fun to play, great to look at, and a great addition to my Palm. If you ever THOUGHT you would like Yahtsee, give this freeware version a try. You will not be disappointed.
