Description:
This is a simple game where you steer a clockwise travelling car and robot cars travel on the same track in a counter clockwise direction.
Your goal is to eat all of the dots along the track without crashing into any of the robot cars.
You start one on one against the robot car and if you're successful, your reward is to complete the course against two robot cars.
There are four levels to beat the game.
Part of the trick to winning is proper use of the accelerator. Double the speed of your car by going into turbo mode.
On PalmOne handhelds, use the selector button of the 5Way navigator to toggle turbo mode.
On Clies, you ought to be able to press the jog dial to go into turnbo mode and release it to return to regular speed though I haven't tested that.

Heh.. the last time I played this game was in Jak 3. =D. Anyway, this game is really addicting. It's just that there's a bug: if you repeatedly press the turbo button before you touch the enemy car, you'll just pass right through it! This was how I easily got to the end. Please fix this bug. Even still, its another pretty addictive game to add to my collection of Palm games =).

I've played many versions of this game across many platforms. This one I also like. As faithful to the orignal as I can tell. Some extra features I feel would be nice are: Speed toggling, not between turbo and normal but the whole game speed (some people may find the current game speed still too fast, while experts may deem it too slow) and an option to turn off sound (more convenient than doing it through Palm prefs). Some extra gaming modes and instructions couldn't hurt either, but still, a nice game.
