Description:
HandyShopper is a great shopping list tool, with plenty of features.
You can even use it for other kinds of lists! HandyShopper works on Palm OS v2.0 through v4.0, on all Palm-based devices (including HandSpring, Sony, HandEra, etc).
Update Description:
- On devices with a 5-way d-pad, the default action for pressing the center button now checks off the highlighted item. There is a new "Hold center button to check item" option in the Misc tab of the Preferences screen (not all devices support press+hold). The change in behavior is needed because the Treo detection fix in v3.0 build 3930 led to HS finally realizing that several other devices also had 5-way d-pads, which in turn led to some unexpected quirks on certain devices.
- The Details screen now supports hardware navigation mode on devices that have the hardware navigation feature (the blue aura that highlights the current control). Up/down still go to the previous/next item.
- The Best Buy screen now shows the percentage difference and unit price difference between the two products.

I would rate it 10 stars. Works very well on my Treo 680. Can be used for many things, not just shopping lists. Forget the €xpen$ive Splash Shopper ("only" 30 bucks), this one is much better and it's free! Thanks to the programmer!

I have used this several ways, including doing checklists of equipment I need to take on the road with me. I have a whole database of bookstores with books that I am looking for, another one is local stores that I frequent. This is a great program, I love it a whole lot! Thanks Matt.

This is one of the best applications I've every encountered. It simplistic and straight forward and not too ambitious. My wife loves it and she only tolerates computers.

I heard about this program from a friend of mine. I have used it for grocery shopping and only been out by pennies at the checkout. Great progam.

Very nice. I used to use jshopper, which is great still, but this program has more features, and has an import/export tool (albeit a command line one -- not for the faint of heart) so I could import my 367 grocery items and not have to retype them! Very nice program.

This is very useful -- for everything. I have a 3.0 OS, and have found zero problems.

Absolutely the most used software I have on my PDA! Used to keep up with upcoming bills each month, shopping, wish lists, Weight Watchers, and anything else I can create with it! An absolute must have for anyone who thinks sticky notes are ideal!!

A terrific program. I use it for shopping, travel, gift lists--so much better than the to do that comes with the palm. This is the program I was looking for!

A must-have utility. Originally i used this to keep my shopping on my palm (handy enough), now it replaces my ToDo database as well. It is an excellent and flexible database with an elegant UI.
