Description:
Navegador is GPS enabled application that collects real time information from many GPS models and provides an easy and compact navigation solution.
Navegagor understands most of the GPS protocols available today, including the Zodiac binary protocol (used by DeLorme units), the Garmin proprietary protocol, and the standard NMEA 183 protocol.
The information is divided in six main displays:
- Info: navigation information like position, time, speed, course; signal quality information like estimated position error, dilution of precision.
- Sats: graphical display of visible, unused and used satelites, with signal strength bars.
- Map: real time map with position, course, and graphical display of waypoints and tracks.
- Points: waypoints management.
- Tracks: tracks management.
- Computer: trip computer, with moving/stopped times, total distance and average/maximum speeds.

Very nice application. Many improvements over the previous version. Works great on my Tungsten T5. However, a significant part of the compass (135°through 225°)disappears once the GPS unit is turned on. Also, it would be nice if the elevation was calibrated in feet and meters instead of miles and kilometers.

Very nice app! Shows all info, connects quickly to bluetooth GPS w/my Treo 650, I like it!! But - What about the "map" option? Right now, "basemap = none - how do I connect to a map?? Or download or create one? There's no info on this in the readme. Still, a VERY nice program.

For first 5 minutes testing with my T3 and GPS10 [Bluetooth Baud:9600, Protocol:NMEA], it's working very well. Connection setup is quite easy. Doesn't hang at all. This software would be perfect if it can export track to memo.
