Type: Freeware
Requirements:
  • Palm III

Author: Peter Novotnik

Description:
This is an app of the series YANA (yet another nonsense application), actually I wrote it for a friend who always counts the days remaining to a special date. May be there is someone who like it :-)

This is may be the simplest (beyond hello world) app I ever came across for the palm os. Just set an date and see how many days remains.

Update Description:
v1.2:
- Support for sony''s high resolution screen
- Fixed memory lack

v1.1:
- Alarm
- Source code included

I love it! It works beautifully on the Palm TX. I'm counting down for my trip to Europe.

Yes, why not. It may be a simple app but I have a big exam coming up and I use it to see how many days I have left. Quite simple (the app that is) but I like it.

Nice little programme that keeps me informed of how long I still have till my research dead line. You should give yourself more credit for this little thing. Tested on my Palm m105 and my colleagues Palm m125 m505 & m515 No problems and does not make our device crush. This is highly recommended for poor researchers every where working under pressure or has a dead line to beat.

Great piece of work Peter. you could only make it better by adding a Label (EVENT)at the top of the screen or perhaps a database of several dates. again Great work!

C'mon! For the PRICE and the MEMORY SIZE you can't pass this up. I loaded it and put my job LAYOFF DATE in. It's not a pretty thing to think about but it sure keeps things in perspective for me! Simple is GOOD. (Or in this case EXCELLENT).
